Rage 2 Cheats, Features, And Backstory

Rage 2 is the latest title being released by ID Software and Avalanche Studios. It is a follow-up to the sci-fi shooter Rage that was released in 2010. The new title will be available in the first or second quarter of 2019 on PC, PS4, and XB1. Rage 2 appears to be an all-around improvement of the original title with very similar gameplay mechanics. Fans are wondering what new Rage 2 cheats, features, weapons, and characters will be available.

What Is The Game About?

Rage 2 is classified as an FPS with heavy sci-fi elements. It’s also an open world game with a number of vehicles at your disposal. One of the major aspects of the game is vehicle-based combat that takes place while traversing the massive post-apocalyptic Wasteland. The size of the Wasteland is impressive and includes a number of specifically themed areas and is entirely seamless.

The story takes place in the year 2165, which is exactly thirty years after the end of the original Rage. There will be a number of new characters as well as some well-known faces from the first game. Walker is the primary protagonist who is last ranger remaining in the Wasteland. The area was struck by a meteor, leaving the majority of the population as dangerous mutants. Walker, having been robbed by the Authority, is on a quest for vengeance.

It has been stated that many similar combat mechanics will be returning from the first game. There will be a large arsenal of firearms that can be upgraded and the familiar wingstick. The wingstick is very similar to a large boomerang with 3 blades. It is unknown whether or not the advanced wingstick will make an appearance in Rage 2. Even if it doesn’t, you’ll be able to unlock all the best weapons with our Rage 2 trainers.

New Developers

The original game was developed by ID Software and the sequel entered development in 2014. However, at the time, the studio decided to finish development of the latest Doom game and push Rage 2 to the back burners. The game was later picked up by Avalanche Studios. It appears that Avalanche is handling most of the development of the game with ID Software overseeing the work.

Rage 2 will also rely on a different engine from the previous game. The new game engine is Apex Engine and is developed by Avalanche Studios. This replaces ID Tech, which was the engine used with the previous title. The introduction of a new engine will certainly lead to new and more advanced gameplay features. Will There Be Rage 2 Cheats?

It is unlikely that there will be cheat codes available for the game in a traditional sense. However, ID Software is known for hiding dozens of Easter eggs in their content. This includes images, videos, sounds, and maps designed after previous titles or with some pop culture significance. It’s also likely there will be exploitable bugs discovered in time that will make it easier to accumulate wealth or defeat enemies. Unfortunately, we will not be able to discover these Easter eggs or these bugs until the game has been officially released in 2019.
