In conjunction with FISHLABS, Volkswagen have created a 3D racing game to promote the new Polo, which was recently premiered at the Geneva motor show. While the Polo isn’t exactly the most exciting car in the world the game does look pretty good, and is certainly better than previous product-tie-ins that have appeared on the iPhone. It looks as though they’ve at least put some effort in.
The game features eight detailed tracks and increasing difficulty. The controls are your typical tilt steering and include realistic driving physics. Music in the game is provided by Hamburg-based newcomer band Feinkost.
Not to miss a trick, the game allows you to navigate to the nearest VW dealer via GPS and Google Maps from the main menu.
