Ubisoft’s Dawn of Discovery coming soon thumbnail

Ubisoft have revealed details of their upcoming time management game, ‘ANNO: Dawn of Discovery’…

The game sees you managing a busy harbor, with you docking and undocking ships, loading and unloading goods, repairing docks and taking care that the ships do not block each other. Giving you 3 hours of diverse game play in a story mode where you explore the Occident, the Orient, the Corsairs and Venice. You can win trophies and try to beat the highscores in the endless mode.

Ubisoft feel that this is not just a straight port of the PC version, “It’s important to show it is possible to adapt and create a challenging, new Anno game feeling, which is a fulfilling game to play and has a high replayability factor.” “It is perfectly tailored to the iPhone. Short sessions, Touch and drop and addictive mechanics make it a very unique iPhone experience.”

The game will be released for $4.99 and Ubisoft say it will appeal to all gamers. “We target a wide audience of people young and old – it is a game for everyone. Next to strategy game lovers and Anno fans, we would also like to target an audience enjoying a challenge, puzzles and who like solving problems within a limited timeframe.”

The game will release on the Ap Store on March 1st. In the meantime check out the screenshots below:
