We sit down with one of the guys behind Jet Car Stunts!

Luke Ryan from True Axis was kinda enough to wake up early on a Saturday in Australia to chat with us about Jet Car Stunts and future projects. Jet Car Stunts got a 5 star review from us a while ago, and won Surprise of the Year for 2009. Currently, a gold version of the game has been released (as an update to the original) that has downloadable replays from the leader boards, asynchronous multiplayer, and other features. There is also a contest going on to win achievement points and iTunes store giftcards that ends tomorrow!

The biggest announcement is the release of Jet Car Stunts Light on the app store yesterday. The light version actually features brand new tracks, not seen in the original. So even if you bought the original, go get the light version!

Pretty amazing they managed to build that physics engine in-house. JCS is incredible. And yeah, it’s true that $2 is way too cheap for the game.
