“Time” for a new FPS? thumbnail

Crazy Robot Games emailed us with a trailer for their upcoming game Timeline. It’s a first person shooter set in the year 2248 on Infinity, a space station developing secret weapons. You play as Lt. Commander Ethan Avery, and must investigate the secret goings-on at the station. From the screenshots and trailer below, the game reminds me of the original N64 ‘Perfect Dark’ in it’s styling. And while it’s not the most state of the art FPS on the iPhone from a visual point of view, it does look to have solid gameplay, including both action and exploration elements. Crazy Robot are still tinkering, so look out for a hands on from us soon.

This looks pretty crappy. They should take some notes from gameloft.

I think it looks pretty good for being their first game. Gameloft makes good games, but they’re a big company. I read their About page on their website, looks like it’s just a husband and wife team. I can’t wait to try it. :)
