SEGA announced today that Sonic CD is coming soon to the AppStore. Actually we had the scoop back in June at E3 when we accidentally saw the game on an iPad that was previewing Sonic All Star Racing. However, we felt at teh time that we had better keep schtum.
The game was originally released for the MEGA CD system in 1993, and included the first appearance of characters Metal Sonic and Amy Rose. This re-release will also feature the original Japanese soundtrack. It should be hitting the AppStore within the next few months.
