With the witching hour approaching, it was only a matter of time before Halloween themed games started popping up on the App store. From Pool to puzzles, it seems no game genre is safe from a pumkin makeover. One game that caught my attention was Halloween wordsearch. It’s the same classic game you are used to, but with a halloween twist. You are given nine halloween themed random words to find on each level. Simply swipe the words with your finger (first letter to last letter) and if you are successful a ghoulish piano sound plays. Complete the word search and you are congratulated with an eerie laugh accompanied by an organ, and of course the next level. It’s a fun game, with some nicely drawn graphics and good sound. The controls work well, but if you have fat fingers you may have troubled highlighting the words. Halloween word search is available now for free here.
