Scrap challenges Tetris

Splitcode have released Scrap, a tetris style puzzler for iPhone ($2.99). While it uses the same tile shapes the big difference is that it’s 360 degrees. You rotate and stack the blocks as you normally would, but Scrap randomly switches the sides of the play area each time you complete a side… just to keep you on your toes!

“Every puzzle game can become boring after the first couple of plays,” says Jeremy, Lead Designer for Splitcode. People want something that can challenge their intellect as well as their hand-eye coordination! The goal for Scrap!’s design, was to create a puzzle game that was as challenging as it is addictive”.

Check out the video and screenshots below, and if you are still not convinced you can pick up a lite version too here

interesting idea – always good to see innovation of a sort

gameplay seems too much like tidying up a desk for me to find enjoyable, I’m afraid

i’ve never been a fan of tetris but this looks like something worth picking up. I think i will get it if it has a sale or a lite version.
