The makers of AC-130 spectre, have released Road Master today, a retro style top down racer in a similar vein to spy hunter. You must participate in illegal street races in order to pay back a gambling debt. The game features 5 stages consisting of 13 levels of increasing difficulty, with the road getting narrower as you progress. You can pick up power ups to increase you health and add lives. Controls are tilt based, with a single button for acceleration. Once your lives run out it’s back to the very beginning, so it really becomes a test of your reactions to not plough into traffic. The game comes hot on the heels of Speed Chase, a similar styled game from Johnny Two Shoes which we previewed here. Both are available at a price of $0.99, so which one do you go for?… well you’ll just have to tune into the podcast on monday to find out!

In the meantime check out screens of the game in action, below.

Sounds cool but i dont think that the style of graphics will really make it a good game (visually).

I guess dave will never post a review because he would have to censor all of it

this game isn’t that good. Really bland and controls are sketchy. No fun at all.
