Resident Evil 4

Capcom released Biohazard 4 on the Japanese iTunes store today, only for the game to be pulled shortly after. For those of you in the west, the game is better known as Resident Evil 4 and was first released on the Nintendo GameCube, and recently re-released on the Wii with wiimote controls. The game is considered the best in the series, with many critics favouring it over the new next-gen RE:5.

Capcom released Resident Evil: Degeneration in May which our very own Torbjorn gave 4 stars. However, we all agreed here at iPGN that Capcom could do better, and it looks like they’ve listened. Before the game was pulled, Japanese iPhone site AppBank managed to grab a copy of the game and capture some video and screenshots. Check them out!

I will be happy as long as they work.

I think they look pretty decent, this could be AWESOME!

Stand in one place and shoot dumb zombies with clunky controls. Hey, it sounds like the original console version! HURRAY! At least it looks pretty.

If indeed that is the case that you stand in one place and shoot then RE fans won’t be disappointed as that has been the control system throughout the series.
I for one cannot wait to get my hands on this having loved Degeneration I can see myself loving this all the more for the fact it is a port of one of the best last gen games.
If they can pull off a good conversion this will be awesome.

looks great! but the aiming systems needs to be more precise! i kinda like how DOOM handled the aiming.. with the accelerometer as aim and virtual buttons as move, then we can shoot while moving!
