Rejection

Just another day in the wonderful world of Apple’s app-roval process. We’ve heard news from the Metaversal, the developer of ‘Hot Dog Down A Hallway’ – reviewed here - that Apple have rejected an update to the game citing “objectionable content”. Metaversal insist that no content has changed in the 1.2 update from the original, and approved release, to which to Apple responded saying that the game will be re-submitted once the new parental controls are added with the iPhone OS 3.0 update.

It seems Apple’s strange approval policies are getting more and more unpredictable, in fact in our recent podcast we discuss this in our topic, including the recent Nine Inch Nails fiasco. Metaversal suspect that their existing game will be pulled, along with other games on the AppStore that Apple deem inappropriate.

Called it since day one, their approval process never ceases to amaze me (in a bad, bad way).

Yeah I figured it would get pulled.

What is so wrong about a pig being ground into sausage? I reviewed it, and the game is not cruel or brutal to the pig. It just turns it into sauasage, a quite normal thing for a pig to become.
