iD Software have updated their popular first-person shooter RAGE HD with two new episodes.
The update also adds a Mutant Bash Store where players can buy the new maps – Kraken and Aqueduct – for $0.99 each. There are also higher resolution player models, a new melee combat and support for HDMI-out via the Apple AV cable.
We were impressed with the game’s visuals when it released in November 2010, but the content wasn’t too pleasing. The developers have since updated RAGE HD with a few nice tweaks, although this update is definitely the biggest. You can download v2.0 for free now and try the new levels for $0.99 each.
