PikNic Quick Review

Don’t you just love picnics? The trees, the blue sky, the green grass, the humping ants? If only there was a way to get rid of these nasty pests. But there is! Its name is PikNic.

PikNic is a game that requires wits, reflexes, and intense fly swatting skills. The goal of the game is to protect your plate of food against hordes of flies, ants, stinkbugs, and other various insects. The player must swipe and touch bugs to keep them away from the food and off the screen in order to clear each round.  The game play isn’t too dynamic and the music loops get old after about 45 seconds but the funny sounds, “humping” ants, and insanely cute visuals give this pick-up-and-play game it’s worth in the App Store. For 99 cents it’s not a bad deal, but it may not have the longest game life.  However, “PikNic” definitely has room for improvements in future updates such as special items or new enemies. For a cheap, cute game that is not intended for serious play, “PikNic” is definitely a good choice.
