Very, Very soon to iPhone in the coming weeks…
According to fine folks at Pocketgamer, who got a hands on with the iPhone verson of Peggle, it will coming out for the iPhone in “the coming weeks.” According to their site Peggle will feature the same classic adventure mode that Peggle players have grown to love. It also features multi player where you pass the phone back and forth with a friend and compete for high score.
The control method has also been built from the ground up for the iPhone, with sliding your finger to aim, and an on screen button to take your shot. When the guys at pocketgamer asked why not go with accelerometer controls, PopCaps Vp of Mobile Andrew Stein said, “Precision aiming with the accelerometer was tricky, so we decided to go with touch controls instead. We’re looking to make features like the accelerometer integral to the experience, not just throwing it in there because we can.”
I can’t wait, but I feel like I’ve posted that Peggle is coming soon a while ago, but this time it looks like it really is happening.
