Khoeps Studio and Microids have announced the joint released of Mysterious Island 2 for both PC and iPhone.
What makes this game different is that it offers an innovative game sharing system, that allows you to continue your game which you started on your PC, and transfer it to your iPhone for on the go play. This will allow you to complete puzzles, and share impressions and tricks from players who are online, then return home, sync up and continue where you left off on your PC.
Based in the Jules Verne universe, the game sees you playing Mina, a character from the first game who has crashed while trying to escape an island, and is now once again trapped. She must search captain nemos base in search for answers.
The game certainly sounds interesting, and I’m intrigued to the level of cross-over between the PC and iPhone. It’s due out for both PC and iPhone in June. Until more details are released, check out some concept art for the game, or visit the official site for the first game here.

This could be the starting point for good pc games to come on the iPhone.
