Gameloft have released a strong contender to ‘best breakout game’ on the iPhone. Called Block Breaker Deluxe 2, it boasts “More modes, more levels, power-ups, challenges, bosses, and surprises than any game of the genre!”
Atari recently released an updated version of their classic ‘super breakout’, also requesting clones of breakout to be removed. The smaller developers obliged, but Gameloft don’t seem to be worried.
