Call of Duty for the iPhone!? Kinda!
Wow. This looks good. As in, the-killer-game-for-the-iPhone good. Although currently details are slim, this morning Gameloft released the first trailer for their new game, “Modern Combat: Sandstorm” today. Obviously, the title is meant to sound like Infinity Ward’s hugely popular title “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare”. It appears that the gameplay style will also be mimicking the console shooter, which is not a bad thing at all. Modern Warfare is some of the most fun I’ve ever had in a shooting game. If Gameloft can pull off anything close to the intensity of that game in Modern Combat, they will have a winner on their hands. Lets just hope they can at least match the length of the game… especially considering it was actually pretty short.
P.S. I’ll be getting my grubby mitts on Modern Combat later this week, so look out for a preview!

With the touchscreen you can reach a precise like a computer mouse (if you understand my bad english). The first FPS game from gameloft for the iPhone. It´s amzing, they make one great game after another. THeir Brothers in Arms game lokked like a Third-Person version of Call of Duty and now they make a game like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare wich was the best FPS game ever made. I love gameloft!!! I love them, i love them, i love them. I can´t stop saying that.

It does look amazing, the shooting looks really well done and spot on it will be interesting to see if the controls work as well as it looks.
But two big questions come to pass on if this game will be truly epic, how long will it be? Alot of Gamelofts non-sports games are pretty short, and will it have multiplayer? I’m sadly guessing it will not have MP which is a shame cause it would raise the bar for the iPhone gaming to another level.
