Now with video from E3 and looking better than ever!
There have been quite a few mini golf games out for the iPhone. I can guarantee you haven’t seen one as stylish and rich as Wacky Worlds Mini Golf from Glu. We were impressed with this title in the early stages of development during GDC, but the current build is looking even better. The colorful 3D visuals have an almost cell-shaded look, and each hole in the various world courses brings something different.
From what we played, the game uses a very simple system to aim and shoot, and should appeal to pretty much anything. It uses touch to aim, and the standard power bar for how hard you putt. It looks like so far there are at least two game modes: standard golf, as well as a “gopher mode” that has you aiming for specific targets to score points.
So far Wacky Worlds Mini Golf is looking to be another fun title Glu, who has put forth some solid games over the past few months.
