Mevo gets groovy in the jungle

Red Rocket Games have updated Mevo and Grooveriders to version 1.1 today. The new update brings better performance, as well as two new jungle themed levels and tunes, plus online scoring.
We reviewed the game a few weeks back in June, and while we found it came up short in difficulty and playtime, we still gave the game a solid 3.5 out of 5. Well, we’ve had some time with the update and can say that the new Jungle levels add some welcome challenge and longevity. The new tunes require more skill, even on easy… and the new online leaderboard is a welcome addition in an iPhone world where that functionality is becoming the norm. Our review policy prohibits us from re-scoring the game, but you could easily add a half point to the original score.
