    • Metal Gear Solid Touch

    As reported on Kotaku, Konami have confirmed that the next Metal Gear entry will be for iPhone and iPod Touch. Set in the Metal Gear Solid 4 universe, you’ll touch and tap your way through eight levels. Bonus wallpapers and extra levels will be available through downloads and updates. If you are hoping to get down with some OAP Snake action at Xmas your out of luck, as Konami are aiming for a spring 2009 release. One thing is for sure, the iPhone has officially hit the big time!

      Konami has been around a long time. Let’s hope they bring some new Contra shooter action!

      And hopefully all other major devs will get on the bandwagon and start making serious iPhone games, both classic franchises and new ones. What are they waiting for?? Talk about easy distribution…
