Just in case you haven’t already seen it, here’s the new multiplayer video of ngmoco’s anticipated FPS game. Honestly I have mixed feelings on this. What do you think?

could be really good or amazingly bad

When they make good controls it’ll be good.
If not it will be a realy bad game!

my problem was with the need to purchase weapons through the micro transactions on the appstore, until I heard an interview where the dev says that was purely used as a demo to show how the SDK 3.0 in game-purchase APIs could work… which is a relief.

Yeah, it all depends on the control setup. I’d love to see a control scheme like Dropship, with the touch-anywhere analog stick type thing. Tapping the right side to fire sounds fine. What I’m worried about is the whole “shake to jump” thing. I would rather have it be like Prime where you double-pat to jump.

*double tap

I will agree with others….On a device where there are NO buttons to actually push, controls are essential to the game. I am not sure about the controls that I saw in the video. They look a little sketchy.
They need to add two joysticks. THe left one will move you and the right one will aim your crosshair. Once aimed you can tap the middle (same area where your aiming is done) and fire. If you double tap and hold you constantly shoot. Not sure, but if the controls are done properly the game will be awesome.
