Have you ever found yourself in a situation where giant balls are in the air over your head, and your only method of escape is to shoot them into smaller balls with your laser? Me neither, I was just testing you. Well now you (you as a little bug) can experience just that, through to the magic of your iPhone.
As my ridiculous intro sentence (call it a thesis statement perhaps) would lead you to belive, in Laser Bug you are a little bug with a laser, and it is your job to shoot the big ball, and make it into smaller balls, until there are no balls left. You can jump and dodge as balls bounce around, and of course there are power ups to help you along the way. It’s pretty fun, but by the time I got to the 3rd or 4th level I was bored, as shooting balls can only stay interesting for so long. Still, if you play in short bursts the game is pretty fun, just don’t expect hours of entertainment from it.

Presentation & Graphics
![]()
The graphics look pretty nice, but the menu is a little weak. It’s not really clear what is a touchable button and what is just general text.
Sound
![]()
The sound effects are good, and the music is decent without being overly repetitive.
Gameplay
![]()
The controls work very well for the game. You tap one side of the screen to shoot the laser, and the other to jump. To move the little bug around you tilt the phone either left or right, depending which way you want him to go. It’s pretty solid, but unfortunately it gets old pretty quick.
Gamelife

There’s just not a lot of reason to keep coming back. As you get farther in level more balls come on the screen, but in the end you are still just doing the same thing over and over again.
Game Rating

A pretty good game that just gets old way to quickly.
