Karoshi Wants You to Die

A platforming game where you’re supposed to die? Sign me up!

Platforming games have always done what they can to kill you as you try to make your way over spike pits, under fireballs, and past enemies. What if the goal of the game was to accept your impending doom and kill yourself? Mr. Karoshi takes a twisted spin on platforming, as seen by the video below. Here is the description from YoYo Games:

In Karoshi players must help Mr. Karoshi, an overworked Japanese businessman, to end his life rather than wait for the inevitable ‘Karōshi’. Puzzles fiendish enough to tax any player’s brain await Mr. Karoshi as he tries to attain his goal, where lateral thinking and eureka moments are the name of the game, and a good bout of head-scratching will lead to a range of hilarious and surprising solutions across the game’s 50 different puzzle stages.

The game is out now for the iPad and iPhone, and we’ll have a review of it soon.
