As to be expected with each generation of iPhones and iPads, developers are doing a great job in pushing the graphical capabilities each time. And this year is no different. Even Crytek got in on the act (yes, the studio that created Crysis) with the gorgeous looking Fibble – Flick ‘n’ Roll. Namco’s Sky Gamblers also impressed, and was the first to really make the most of the iPad 3’s power. Overall though we felt that the just released Modern Combat 4 deserved the title for delivering an FPS experience crammed with detail, explosions and rag-doll physics that has pushed the graphical capabilities of these devices even closer to that of the current console generation. Roll on 2013.
