Got worms?

No, not that kind…the earthworm variety! Team 17 are releasing Worms on iPhone soon. It’s not much of a surprise really, with many clones already on the AppStore it was more a case of when, than if, the slimey hermaphrodites would hit our beloved iDevices. Not good timing for the recent clone ‘Soldier Ants’ release maybe.. let battle commence!

Whether or not Worms wipes the floor with SoldierAnts might depend partly on the price point Worms is released, and if they include multiplayer (if they don’t and SoldierAnts adds multiplayer as a patch I can see SoldierAnts actually getting quite a following).

Worms looks bloody great though.

Awesome. Looking forward to this already, i love me some worms.

I assume there will be local multiplayer - is online too much to hope for?
