That’s right, we now have our very own App. Get quick access to the latest stories, podcasts and video from Touchgen.com in an easy to read, iPhone friendly format.
You asked and so we delivered. While the regular site obviously looks great on the iPhone, it does require a bit of loading and a lot of scrolling, pinching and zooming. So, with this App we have created three tabs that let you browse the top 10 stories, podcasts and video. The podcasts and videos link directly to the files for viewing over EDGE, 3G and WiFi, while the reviews, features and news stories are reformatted for easy reading with no zooming needed. You can even read offline should lose your signal, as the last stories loaded are cached to the App.
It’s pretty basic right now, but we hope to improve it over time… so if you have any ideas how to make it better, let us know in the comments section below.
