Binary Dawn shows us their new game that’s all about “giggle water.”
During the Prohibition of the 1920s, alcohol was known as “giggle water.” This way, people could ask for alcohol without getting into trouble with the law, as long as they didn’t get caught that is. Giggle Water, which is still in development, is a game that features a man from the 1920s with an empty martini glass. Your goal is to catch dripping booze from valves above you, and then somehow find a way to get the glass to your lips by tilting the device appropriately. The catch is, the more you drink, the more your character will sway and swagger. The silly physics and old timey music should make this app a fun game to play while with friends or at a party.
Unfortunately, because this game is still so early in development, not much more can be said. The controls and physics are pretty good already but the game definitely needs MORE to make it a complete game. The game will be available for free download by Saint Paddy’s Day (hopefully) and will be universal for all iOS devices. The developers are working on facebook and twitter integration as well as being able to put your friend’s faces on the drinker. Stay tuned for updates, or visit Binary Dawn’s website for upcoming news.
