Check out the updates and a new stuff coming from Digital Legends.
Digital Legends, who worked on Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior HD, are preparing to launch 3 major updates to some of their most popular games. They are also in the works of a new sports title, but we won’t have more than a screenshot until E3.
Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior HD: As one of the first iPad games, Bruce Lee offered users their first experience at how good an iPad’s gamin abilities could be. This game was featured as Apple’s iPad game of the week during the iPad’s launch week. As an update, Digital Legends is adding Openfeint, Facebook, and Game Center capabilities. They are also making Bruce Lee compatible with the iPhone 4′s retinal display. The game will also support a 180 degree flip for those gamers who have problems with covering the speaker, plugging in headphones, etc while playing. Bruce Lee will also be available on the Xperia.
Kroll: Released in 2008, Kroll is moving to a free to play zone soon. It is currently $0.99 in the App store but will be free, with ads, sometime in the near future. Along with making the app free, Digital Legends will be adding 3 new chapters, as well as allowing “Dark Soldier” mode to be unlocked after completing the game on any difficulty level. This mode forces the player to complete levels quickly because your character is constantly being chased by a Dark Soldier. They are also adding new enemies to spice up the night.
Split/Second: Disney’s Split Second seemed like it would be an awesome game for iOS devices as well as console devices. Unfortunately, it was very buggy from the iOS release date. Thankfully, Digital Legends is planning a major update that will fix bugs and enemy AI. No more exploding on contact with the wall.
NEW! Ice Breaker: After the success of Back Breaker, Digital Legends decided to expand into other types of sports, namely ice hockey. Ice Breaker is Similar to Back Breaker, in that it boasts an impressive visual design. Unfortunately, because the game is still in development, a launch date is unknown. ”Soon” is the word we got from Digital Legends.
Stay tuned for more pictures and updates.
