Hayden Scott-Baron, who was part of the art team responsible for the beautiful WiiWare game LostWinds, has created his first iPhone game.Called Tumbledrop, it requires you to remove various shaped building blocks from the screen to allow a pink star to safely level ground. One wrong move however, could send it tumbling into the water. The game was originally released as a browser game in October 2008, receiving the Unity 2008 Award for best gameplay. It now sports new iPhone only features, more levels, and a score-based ‘quick-play’ mode.
Features include:
- Play single-handed on the bus or train.
- Compete for high scores in random levels with the new Quick Play option, and share them with Facebook and Twitter.
- Explore new levels, now with multiple islands and tilting see-saws.
- Puzzle over crazy new shapes, including gravity defying balloons.
- Earn over 100 medals by beating level challenges.
- Start with 60 levels, then download more soon in a free update.
Tumbledrop is out 15 Jan 2010 for $1.99 - get it here
