Finding the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland thumbnail

I get a lot of questions about how to find the mysterious Mad Hatter. Here is how you do it. You have to be able to get into the house of the March Hare. Enter the house once you got the key to it.

Go to the right, and move the mirror from the high blue point to the low blue point using the March Hare (MH).

img_0599Enter the mirror and go to the left. Let the White Rabbit (WR) unfreeze the spiky block. Switch back to Alice and run to the right, and enter the mirror you came from. Wait for the spiky block to pass you in the mirrored world, and go back into the mirror again.

img_0601If done correctly the spiky block now chases you. You can freeze it again or just run to the left. There is another spiky block moving above the one you just messed about with, and it can be moved using the MH to the location above the mirror to the left.

Enter the mirror and you will get to a guard and a door. If the guard spots you just go back in the mirror, if not go into the door.
Level IV, checkpoint and just steps away from the Mad Hatter. img_0603Go left and move the large bookcase to the blue spot above the soldiers. Behind the bookcase there is a door. The hint was the purple shine to the bookcase. Enter the door, run to the left mirror and enter it as well. You get a block to move using MH and unfreeze using WR. Jump over the table, and hey presto it is Mr Depp hrm the Mad Hatter.

    hi there i have gotten to the spot you have just described but am having trouble… it says to rotate the iphone to turn wonderland upside down but nothing i do works. Is there a trick to succeeding in this?

    Rotating the phone is only needed when you enter any of the rotating puzzles. In these you find special launchers that you can enter. Once inside you can rotate your phone to turn the world upside down or sideways. Once you are ready to launch press the “action” button. The third image of the Alice review shows a rotating puzzle.

    How do u rotate am so stuck at this point!! You mentioned entering the launcher but how do you do this??? Tried rotating I phone all ways but it doesn’t do anything!!! Pls help can’t get past this point

    When u want to rotate, u have to stand infront of the circular thing and the hand image will appear in the middle at the bottom (just like when u go to enter a mirror) once u press the hand u will disappear and then u can turn the phone ( ensure ur phone is upright) then the arrow will move,this could take a sec. Then the hand will appear again, press it and u will be released. Hope that helps. If any1 knows how to get back once u have got the key please let me know. I’ll answer anything else I can

    Thanks got past that part and am now totally stuck at the same point you are got the key for bottom door but can’t get back as each wardrobe you remove just lands you on spikes anyone know how to get past it???

    To get the key u have to use hatter and rabbit on the wardrobe infront of u then go through the mirror. Go right till u can only just see the mirror, now move the mirror to the right till it stays thee, this is very tricky and might take a while. After this it’s pretty easy to get to the key but after this I have no idea what to do cus can’t find a way back and am yet to find any1 who knows

    Thanks! If you scroll the screen out and make the wardrobes move with MH, then you’ll see a platform for CH to make visible. Drop down and go to the left. You’ll see a mirror, before going through, use march hare to pull up the spiked rock then use mad hatter to transfer it. Follow it so you can move the wardrobe to take out all 3 guards. Then you can go to a crack in the wall and get an item. So far the first door looks the most promising, but I keep landing on spikes. I hope this helps you move forward some.

    I got it. The trick is to move the boxes from when you first drop in. Rotate until they are under the second rotator, should be, right, left, left, left, right, right, left, then you can drop down safely and get into the second door.

    Ok, here it goes, from the room with the key. Go back through the door and through both rotation circles to get to the second door. Go back through the mirror, and you should be in the room where you can no longer move the mirror to the left to go back the way you came. Once you get to that room, then make sure you are zoomed all the way out. (”Pinch” the screen with two fingers, like you do to zoom out on an internet page). Then run to the far left of the platforms, there should be a bookshelf on the bottom floor so that you can run across the top easily, if it is still on the top level, then change to the white rabbit and make it drop. Once you are at the far left, there may be another bookshelf or two, one on the top level where you are, and the other underneath, on top of the spikes. You will need both of those moved to go forward, so change to mad hatter if you need to move them to the other side of the mirror. Once those are cleared, then move back to the right until you see the green leaves for the cheshire cat on the level below you, (if you don’t see it then keep moving to the right and make sure your game is zoomed out all the way). You will then need to unfreeze the platform using the white rabbit. Now you can change back to Alice and drop down when the platform is under the drop( if it does not go all the way to the left when Alice first drops down it is because Alice hit her head, and it made the platform move back the other way, stay on and it will go all the way across the spikes on the way back). Jump off to the left and you will see a mirror with a blue spot to the left of it. Underneath you, there will be the spiked rock moving back and forth, use the march hare to move it to the blue spot next to the mirror, then quickly change to the mad hatter to switch it to the other side of the mirror to take out the guards, then when you cross the mirror, move the spike rock back with the mad hatter, and then go into the first door. The directions for that room are in my previous comment. I hope these directions are clear. Let me know if you need better directions. Happy playing!

    Hello All,

    Am hoping someone can help me, I have found the Mad Hatter, I have found the key and have managed to kill all 3 guards, I then went through the first of the 2 doors and am now stuck.
    How do I get to the 2nd door without landing on the spikes? MB you mentioned that you need rotate the 3 boxes. How do I do this?

    Get into the first rotator in the room and rotate it in this order: right, left, left, left, right, right, left. Go slowly so the boxes have time to drop. Then drop down to the ledge to the left of where you were and carefully drop down on the boxes to get into the next rotator.

    hi i got past the hares house and the level after that and i got to the bit where theres three rooms with constantly move, and im in the third one but i cant seem to find a way to get to the door without any boxes or platforms and i cant turn the rotators anyway that would help! if anyone knows id really appreciate the help!

    I think I’m stuck in the same spot as Suzy. Please if someone could post how to kill those two pesky guards at the top it would be most appreciated!! I’ve tried moving everything you can and using the mad hatter to shift things from either side of the mirror, however I still can’t seem to figure out how in H E double hockey sticks you can kill those darn guards!!

    ok for thoses folks who are stuck after all the rooms. You have to move the boxes onto the blue flames to the left of the screen (remember to pinch the screen first) don’t forget to freeze the moving platforms above you! when you position and freeze the plateform above the guards head put on one box and then use the mad hatter to make it dissapear. then do the same with the other box. before you go through the mirror again dont forget to make the platform leadinding to the guards disappear! If you put the boxes in the right place the guards will be gone

    I have gotten the key as well as the hatter. I have now reached a point that I go though a mirror I come out with a spike block right on the ground that sweeps across like in the upper levels of the house. I know it’s gonna kill the guard I just can’t seem to get past it though because once you move the golden spikes through to the other world with the MH and unfeeze it with the WR, you can not jump over it or anything. There’s a blue flame for the mirror you entered in on but it to high to jump to. Please help. Maybe I’m just thinking to hard about it but I just devoted 3 hours to trying, so I’m seeking help now. I think it’s the first floor of the house this is on but I’m not 100% on that. Thanks so much ! This page has helped a lot so far.

    Ok I seriously need help! I’m past all of that and on to the end of the game. I have gone through several rooms where I had to rotate the screen and move blocks around to make walk ways but now Im in a room with a key and two doors. One is locked and is raised off the ground. I can get the key to unlock it no problem but how do I get through the door after I unlock it?!? Please help.

    thanks for the tips. i finally found the mad hatter and am out of the march hare’s house. i’m now in the labyrinth with all the rooms and doors. i managed to find 2 of the missing pieces of glass but can’t find the 3rd piece. can someone help please. it’s really frustrating i keep winding up where i started. thank you.
