Final Fantasy coming to iPhone

Famitsu reported this week that Square Enix is developing its first game for iPhone. ‘Crystal Defenders’ is based in the Final Fantasy universe and is dubbed as a defense simulation, so look for something along the lines of Final Fantasy Tactics meets Tower defense. With many final fantasy games have somewhat of a rebirth on the touch screen Nintendo DS lets hope Square look to bring more of their franchises over to iPhone.     Not too sure about this type of FF. Prefer a real FF game. BUt might try it if the price is right. Graphics look like Super Nintendo Era 2D top down sprites. Would hope for at least 2.5D with beautiful magic eye-candy, glowing magic spells and the like.

    Let’s hope this game makes Square Enix loads of cash to show them this platform is where it’s at, then they’ll go all out with a full FF game.
