Artificial Life have released screens of their upcoming F1 racing game ‘BMW Sauber F1 team: Racing 2009′.
You play as either Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfield, and race across 8 of the official Formula 1 Championship Tracks in both clear and rainy weather conditions.
We got some hands on time with the game at our E3 mixer. And while the game looked solid, we felt the controls seemed a little on the loose side. On a positive note the game felt very fast, a feeling that many F1 games struggle to re-produce.
Features
- Speed down 8 heart-pounding courses at the most famous Formula 1 Championship locations in the world including Australia, China, Monaco, and more!
- Push yourself to earn 10 beautiful trophies you can show off every time you have company over.
- Customizable racing options including transmission, weather, difficulty, and more ensure a new gaming experience every time you play.
-Become the fastest pit crew in the world in a unique pit stop mini-game that requires both speed and logic to master.
-Set world record lap times in the Time Trial game mode.
-Two exciting Challenge modes offer a competitive experience for players to enjoy.
1. Donut- Unleash the reckless driver inside you as you create the world’s largest donuts!
2. Pit Stop- Try to set the fastest times for the game’s pit stop mini-game.
Future Update Features (Subject to Change)
-Compete with players across the world for the highest scores using Facebook Connect.

I’ve never been into US style racing like nascar - but when I saw F1 for the first time (turned on during the first race qualifying this year) I was hooked!
As far as the game goes, not my favorite driver, but still would check this out now that I’m an F1 addict.
