Beeline – a division of Capcom – showed off their upcoming gruesome cooking game…
The best way to describe Zombie Cookin’ is to think Cooking Mama but with zombies. Of course the recipes you’ll be cooking up won’t be your typical ones, and instead comprise of nasty ingredients such as spider legs and monkey brains.
To aid you in your culinary activities is your zombie horde. These guys will go and do you bidding, searching out for ingredients. As you progress further, new and rare ingredients can be found by your horde which will increase the recipes you can cook and the points you will receive. Much like Cooking Mama each recipe is divided up into mini games, so for example you maybe required to pull off a spiders legs, then smash it up and finally stir it up into a soup. Each mini game has a timer, and based on how well you do you will be awarded with a medal. Some, like the stirring, require you to keep stirring at the right speed. Too fast or too slow and you’ll fail.
The game is very much in early development, so don’t expect a release until Q3 or Q4 this year. It does look like a fun spin on the casual cooking game, not that there aren’t enough zombie games on the AppStore already.
