So you probably already know that the Sims is out by now. If not then… well it’s out now for $9.99. We have a review copy so look for our review soon. In the meantime you can watch Matt as he goes hands on with the game while at the EA booth at the E3 expo last week. Check it out!

After buying the game, I was initially left with a sour taste in my mouth. I have never been a fan of the sims, and I figured that perhaps trying out a ten dollar version of the game would be a good entry point.
Turns out it was, and I am quite enjoying my time with Sims 3, it feels like it has a nice feature set but I cannot accurately compare it to its big brother on the PC.

looks good, and the loading is pretty fast too.

The constant loading is actually one of the things that is bothering me the most, though I understand why it’s implemented the way it is. The platform’s RAM just isn’t spacious enough for it to be a seamless experience.

If you download a memory clearing app it works very well, I just clear up before I load the game and the load times are breezy

i am pretty impressed considering the platform. i have played all the sims games and this one does quite well and becomes quite addictive. most cell games i have just to pass the time when i have ABSOLUTELY nothing else to do and just have to wait. with this game i find myself actually WANTING to play it quite often!
