Two of the most beloved and simultaneously divisive Square Enix titles are being made available later this year on iPhone and iPod Touch: Final Fantasy Tactics and Secret of Mana.
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions is advertised as being a port of the popular PSP version. Whether Square Enix will improve the slowdown and slight camera issues from the PSP version remains a mystery. Still, we should all be grateful that with War of the Lions comes the much improved dialogue written for the new version.
Secret of Mana, the quirky Super Nintendo cooperative action RPG will also be appearing on the iPhone, and we can only hope that Square Enix plans to implement multiplayer.
Both games are set to debut on the app store in 2010, so look forward to hundreds of potential hours of gameplay headed to an iPhone near you.
