Gameloft gives us TouchGenians an iPhone/iPad hands on with their sequel to Let’s Golf, and it looks mighty awesome.
Let’s Golf 2 is looking to be the most fun, good looking golf game I have seen on the iPhone/iPad thus far. This sequel offers 8 characters, 6 environments, 108 holes for an insane amount of golfing. The player golfs through Greenland, an Aztec jungle, an African safari, and 3 other unique environments while customizing and upgrading their character. Each character can be upgraded and leveled up however the player chooses. Also, the clothes, clubs, and balls the characters use can be changed. The game also offers a customizable interface, which allows the player to move buttons around on the screen. One feature I always love to see in games is multiplayer. Let’s Golf 2 offers local Wifi multiplayer.
The gameplay itself is really easy to pick up and learn. Let’s Golf 2 offers a simple hitting system that allows the player to control the power, the distance, as well as the spin on the ball in air. The overall mechanics and graphics of the game are smoother and better than Let’s Golf. Overall, the game is looking to be a really fun, Wii style game. It releases sometime in July.
