E3: Happynin Games first looks

Today Pat and myself got to sit down with Happynin Games to talk about what they have coming along soon for our iPhone and iPads. They are a small company that works with students from USC to take their ideas and turn them into a reality. They officially started putting games on the app store in September, and have had one game hit the app store so far. Their first game came along on the iPhone and was called Foul Play.

They have just recently released Foul Play on the iPad, and we got to play with it for a little while today. It’s a simple game where you are a piegeon and it is your goal to poop on people as you fly over their head, all while avoiding trees and other obstacles that can kill you. It’s a fun little game that is available now on the iPad for free. So if the concept sounds interesting you then get your iPad and go download it.

Dynotron is their next game coming out, and while they were unable to show it at this time they did tell us what to expect from the game. It is a rhythm based shooter. The goal is kill enemies to the beat of the music. It sounds like a fun concept, and I look forward to getting my hands on it in the next few weeks. The final game is expected to be released at the end of the summer.

Lastly they showed us a tech demo for a cool game that I can’t talk about it. I will say it looked like a really cool idea, and I can’t wait it come to fruition in the coming months.
