E3: Hands On With Final Fantasy Dimensions

While in sunny California we got our hands on Square’s upcoming epic.

There really isn’t much to say about Square’s latest mobile Final Fantasy game. It is exactly what you expect to see from Final Fantasy, and there is nothing wrong with that. Of course, it doesn’t play like Final Fantasy 13, rather, it feels like a great throwback to Final Fantasy games of yesteryear.

It has a well done turn based combat system, an incredibly deep job system (which I did not see much of during the brief E3 demo, but the presenter assured me that it is there) and every fine detail that fans of the series look for.

The battle system is the same active time system introduced in Final Fantasy IV, so if you enjoyed that entry into the Final Fantasy series, you will most certainly love this.

I will admit that I am not a Final Fantasy fan, but everything looks in order. If you are a fan, you should keep this game on your radar.
