While the next FIFA 12 for iOS is too early to show yet, EA have been busy working on a new multiplayer addition to the iPad version of FIFA 11.
The new feature which is purely a prototype right now allows you to play two player FIFA on one iPad by using two iPhones or iPod Touches as controllers connected by bluetooth. This allows you to see the action on the iPad screen without covering it with your fingers. The display on the iPhones shows only the onscreen controls which include the three context sensitive action buttons and the touch anywhere virtual analogue stick.
Obviously it does require a significant investment in devices to play, but for those with multiple devices it’s a pretty cool feature. Eat your heart out Wii U!
