Bulkypix brings 3 games to the iPad in HD glory.
We got to check some new titles, as well as some great updated HD games from Bulkypix. Here are the three games that are receiving shiny coats of HD paint for the iPad:
Saving Private Sheep HD
The private is back on the iPad with 120 levels of physics-based goodness. The original iPhone game featured in-game purchases for levels, but the iPad version features all the iPhone free and purchasable levels plus exclusive levels for the iPad! It’s good to see a game that has more to it for the iPad than good looks. Check out Pat’s review of the iPhone version for our opinion on that version of the game.
Twin Blades HD
The gorgeous animations and artwork of Twin Blades pop out in the iPad version of the game that Nigel reviewed on the iPhone. The game features 10 new environments, and can be bought for $4.99 on the App Store.
Drum Challenge HD
I’m a drummer, and I’m up for a good challenge now and then. Unfortunately, Drum Challenge didn’t really impress me much. It’s a very basic music game that has you remembering a beat, then trying to play the beat back by tapping the high-res picture of the drum set in front of you. I feel like more time should have been spent on maybe animating the drum set, or making the game a bit more appealing on the big screen. Still, could be a fun game to play, especially if you have more people to help you keep the beats, as hard levels get pretty tough for just 2 hands. It’s available on the App Store right now for $1.99.
