To be honest, if you haven’t downloaded Doodle Jump for 99 cents yet, go do it. It’s still one of the best time wasting games on the app store, and it continues to improve with each new update. The last update allowed things like pausing in-game, directional shooting, and some much needed menu tweaks. The new update is a bit heftier, and includes the following:
- Two new monsters: Fluttery Stripes and Habba the Jut, a fat, green
monster that needs to be shot twice to die.
- Sound warning when approaching a monster
- Directional shooting can be turned on/off
- Last 50 local score markers are displayed in-game in addition to the
top 10 local scores
I had a great experience with Doodle Jump in the first version, but all these updates are just adding more polish, and really improving the overall game experience.
