Details and screenshots of Crescent Moon’s soon to be released online twin-stick shooter…
[Update: Check out our hands-on with video here] Deadlock is a new game coming soon from the creators of the recently released Gears, and of course Aralon. It’s described as a military online multiplayer game, mixed with the isometric-ish perspective and controls of a dual v-stick shooter.
Features include: 8 player online mutliplayer, with deathmatch, team and capture the flag modes across 5 maps; 30 weapons and 30 ranks to earn; and the ability to sync your character profile across multiple devices.
I think that this gameplay style should suit online play on iOS devices well. Without the need to adjust your aim vertically, as with first person shooters, you can concentrate more on unleashing merry hell on your opponents. We’ll have more on the game soon.
