Cobra mobile go retro with their budget nod to Super Sprint, coming soon to iPad… Danger Derby is a top down racer, built for the iPad, where you take on both computer AI or Human opponents in fast, reaction based racing. Very much like Super Sprint, the cars are very sensitive to minute adjustments in steering, and so to be successful you need to get that perfect balance of speed and control. The game includes 8 tracks in arcade mode, plus challenge mode where you challenge your ghost times, and there’s free play to practice on any unlocked tracks. The computer AI is pretty tough, but nothing beats a two on two game with real players. Becasue of the iPad’s larger screen, Cobra have added same device multi-player. With one player at one end of the screen, the other can jump into the game at anytime, with controls for them appearing on their side of the screen. Danger Derby is in the process of Approval with Apple, so expect it soon.
