You’ll like it cuz it has “Cut the Rope” in it.
It’s also even cuter, if that’s even possible. We got a brief hands on with the new Cut the Rope “holiday box” recently, and it’s as cute and Chistmassy as ever! You get to cut strands of Christmas lights in this one, and there’s a bunch of new levels. Need more? Ok, there’s also at least one new gameplay element. What we saw were teleporting “holiday socks” (read: stockings). Candy goes in one sock, then comes out the other. This opens up the ability for some momentum-based physics puzzles, as the candy goes out the second sock as fast as it goes into the first sock. It’s simple, cute fun as expected.
There’s not much else to say, except that… oh wait, this is a FREE standalone version of the game! If you’re not convinced that you need to buy the original game, you have a chance to play the holiday version without coughing up your precious dollar. The game should be out before Christmas.
