Atari’s suits have sprang into action and requested that some developers infringing on their precious licenses must take down their games from the App store. As posted on TouchArcade’s forum developer Bootant has been ordered by Atari to remove their breakout clones BreakClassic and BreakTouch 3D from the App Store.
“Some very unfortunate news, I have been asked to remove SuperPong 2 from the App Store at the request of Atari Interactive due to possible infringements against Pong and Breakout copyrights.”
Let’s hope other game classic such as Vector Blaster (reviewed here) and Space invasion (reviewed here) don’t meet similar ends.
